Hold industry recognised qualifications in Payroll equivalent to masters degree level, or a degree level qualification and significant experience equivalent to a masters degree.

Proven experience of tendering and contract management
Previous experience in a leadership role within a large-scale Payroll Service provision ideally within an Employee Services operating model within the NHS
Demonstrate an expert knowledge of NHS Payroll Conditions and Procedures, the NHS Pension Scheme and current Statutory Legislation
Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of the workings of all pay related computer systems
Demonstrate an advanced level of ability to effectively use Microsoft Office software
Demonstratable experience of tendering and contracting and commercialisation of payroll services and Employee Services operating models.
Experience of leading on contract negotiations and evidence of successfully managing and performance against external service level agreements
