Aqumen Recruitment on behalf of their client in HU5 is looking for a warehouse operative with FLT license to join their client on a temp to perm basis.


  • A valid accredited Counterbalance license & experience
  • Worked within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Able to meet the needs of the physically demanding tasks of the job role.
  • Good communication skills
  • Good Literacy & numeracy skills.

_The role:
_
To carry out all tasks and duties in line with the Company Health and Safety Policy Statement and to Standard Operating Procedures as follows:

  • Loading and unloading of vehicles using counterbalance fork lift truck and/or pallet trucks, and ensuring that all components are stored correctly in designated Warehouses.
  • Checking for damaged or missing items and ensuring documentation for delivered items is correct.
  • Safely moving components for the production of product between the storage areas and the loading machines ensuring the machines have enough components to complete the production schedule.
  • Working with the Warehouse Stock Control Manager to keep a careful record of stock on the warehouse management system so that items can be located quickly.
  • Assisting with physical weekly and monthly stock counts.
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in warehouses, storage containers and yard areas.
  • Daily checking of fork lift trucks for safe operation and reporting of any defects.
  • Any other duties within the physical limits and capabilities of the individual as directed by the Warehouse Stock Control Manager or by the Head of Production.

  • Monday
  • Thursday 07:00 17: hours paid per week.

_Pay Rate:
_
Basic £14.00 per hour plus OT opportunities.
