We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate domiciliary care assistant to join our team in Bromsgrove.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers, using equipment such as hoists and slings where necessary
  • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, taking into account any dietary requirements
  • Carry out household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the relevant healthcare professionals
  • Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including health and safety and infection control measures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
  • A compassionate and caring nature
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • A willingness to undergo training and development
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary:
£12.10-£12.50 per hour
