Your Role
As a Band 2 HCSW, you will play a vital role in providing support to our nursing and clinical teams.
Your main responsibility will be ensuring the welfare and well-being of our patients, assisting them with their daily activities, and helping them maintain their independence.
You will work closely with individuals with mental health conditions, offering both emotional support and practical assistance.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Support patients with their medication management, under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.
- Help patients engage in therapeutic activities and provide companionship.
- Encourage patients to participate in social and recreational activities within the centre.
- Monitor and report any changes in patients' physical or mental health to the nursing team.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine interest in helping others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions.
- A willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check, including an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Working Hours and Pay
This is a temporary position commencing on 12/02/2024 and ending on 12/02/2024. The shift will start at 07:30:00 and end at 20:00:00.
You will be paid at a rate of £130.25 per shift, and the payment will be processed through PAYE (Pay As You Earn).
