We brew a constant core range of only 5 beers from recipes found in the archives, and then beers under our Hollow Stone Brewing Co craft brand are where we push the boundaries of recipe and ingredients.

Since 2016 we have been at our Little Star Brewery which has a 12-barrel brewery, we brew to maximum capacity and are currently looking for a team that can help our expansion plans, eventually into a new brewhouse.


ROLE OVERVIEW:
You will have the exciting job of creating the Hollow Stone Brewing Co seasonal specials. This is part of the role that we all love. Designing new beers, entering them into competitions and measuring your beers against other brewers.

WORKING BASE:
The role is based at our Little Star Brewery, NG6 0GA

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Positive and committed attitude.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Innovative and creative for seasonal specials.
  • Good at working to cost budgets.
  • You must be very wellorganised and process orientated. Solid working knowledge of brewing and cellaring operations.
  • A dedication to the utmost quality and consistency in all aspects of beer production.
  • Carry out daily brewhouse and cellaring duties such as Daily Quality Checks, Vessel & Brew kit CIP, Yeast Count and Cropping, Dry Hopping, and Conditioning.
  • This role may require you to attend festivals and events as a representative of Shipstones.

Salary:
Up to £26,000.00 per year
