Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget adherence
  • Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring coordination with all stakeholders
  • Lead and manage a team of contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing contingency plans as needed
  • Collaborate with the commercial department in managing project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction process
  • Ensure client satisfaction and manage their expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in high-end client build residential construction
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects, with a focus on luxury residential builds
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Experience with project management software, such as MS Project, Asta or similar
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Valid CSCS card and relevant health and safety certifications

Desirable:

  • NVQ or Degree certification
  • Experience with luxury property development companies
  • Knowledge of local building regulations and authorities in Surrey
