The Role


Working alongside more senior members of the Test and Development Teams, the Junior Software Tester will gain exposure to a variety of projects.

Carry out manual test on a regular basis to ensure the highest quality level is achieved. Creating and reporting bugs on bug management software.

The Key Responsibilities of the Junior Software Tester will include:

  • Produce a range of internal testing documentation in line with the testing strategy
  • Test using a combination of testing techniques (manual)
  • Identify and ensure bugs are clearly logged
  • Assisting with testing new features across the business
  • Following existing project and test plans
  • Assist support team in duplicating reported issues
  • Test across multiple platforms including:
  • Windows Desktop Application
  • Web Application
  • Any other task as directed by the Line Manager
  • Degree in IT OR Minimum of one year's experience in a similar test role
  • Knowledge of testing principles/concepts/ techniques
  • Experience producing and following testing documentation
  • Experience writing test cases/scripts and analysing test results
    Salary & Benefits
