We have a fantastic and rare opportunity to join our family friendly nursery. We are looking for a Nursery assistant to come join our team in Knaresborough.


Applicants must be able to work alongside the team to complete observations, supervise and care for children between the ages of 6 months to 4 years and help to provide activities to suit each child's individual stage of development.

An applicant must also have strong communication skills to communicate effectively with children and other members of staff.


Working days will be a shift pattern Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am - 6pm with one set day off per week.

No qualifications needed and full training will be given, however experience with children preferable.

Other duties include:

  • Preparing food and feeding children.
  • Changing nappies or helping with toilet training
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy child friendly environment.
An enhanced DBS is required by any applicant.

£8.60-£11.44 per hour
