WHAT WILL I BE DOING?


You will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring all KPI's and productivity levels are maintained in line with company targets, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

This is a full-time opportunity working 37.5 hours per week on a 6 month fixed term contract.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Experience in leading and motivating staff.
  • Be an excellent communicator and motivator with the ability to delegate and empower teams to achieve.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety in the Warehouse.
  • The ability to lead your team to achieve KPI's and objectives to ensure the site operates effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to coordinate work and allocate resources amongst the team.
  • Experience in Warehouse Management Systems would be an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Willing to work in all area's of the warehouse and prioritise as per operational requirements.
  • Commitment sees the job through to completion.
  • Be able to cover the Supervisor role when required.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Experience in a Warehouse environment within a Distribution background.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate works and allocates resources amongst team.
  • Commitment sees the job through to completion.

Desirable

  • Experience in Warehouse Management Systems would be an advantage.
SKILLS/ ABILITIES

  • An awareness of Health and Safety in the warehouse.
