Plans and implements annual upgrades to Lenel On-Guard ensuring the system remains deployed at supportable version
Configures and manages SQL Server DB backups.
Implements required operating system updates, application patches and SQL Server updates.
Reviews and approves all project programming documentation prior to VAR completing additions to the OnGuard application
Responsible for the upkeep of the 'As Built' store ensuring all documentation correctly aligns to project implementations
Mentors VAR Engineering Teams to ensuring that Lenel On-Guard is consistently programmed to standards
Reviews and tests Lenel and SQL Server software upgrades prior to implementation
Leads monthly Remote Managed Service (RMS) meetings with the Lenel Team building a strong rapport with the team.
Undertakes special projects to constantly enhance the experience of the end users – such mapping implementation, management of custom alarms etc...
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for incident resolution and root cause analysis for server, storage, and network related issues.
Job requirements:
Requires experience with Microsoft operating systems (WIN11, Server
Good understanding of IT networks - LAN/WAN, Intranet/Internet, Firewalls
Candidates for this position must have a strong security systems background & working knowledge of variety of Physical Access Control & CCTV Systems.
Strong organizational & clear communication skills are absolutely required
Strong understanding of MS SQL Databases.
Lenel Accreditation to Master certification
Individuals in this position must be self-motivated requiring little or no direct supervision.
They must demonstrate strong multitasking ability to manage multiple different tasks.
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
Good working knowledge Of Word Processing & Excel Spreadsheet skills are absolutely required.
Professional Associations within Security Industry such as ASIS Membership & CPP Licenses are desirable but not required.
