We're looking for a Veterinary Specialist to join our Pet Claims Business This is an exciting and dynamic department, that is in need of an experienced Veterinary professional to help support us during this time of growth and innovation.

This role would be perfect for an experienced Vet Nurse or Veterinary Specialist who is looking to progress their career within the insurance sector.


As a Veterinary Specialist you will;

  • Review Veterinary claims and provide support/guidance to our claims provider in assessing veterinary claims for our Pet Insurance business.
  • Work on supplier/Partner quality control and deal with relevant feedback, complaints and queries in relation to Pet Claims.
  • Interact with our stakeholders to seek feedback upon the performance of Vet Groups and our 3rd party claims provider.
  • Support the development and ongoing ownership of suite of MI for Technical Pet Claims.
  • Input into the strategic development of our product proposition and customer journey within the market
  • Provide insight on industry challenges and cost control schemes

Ideally you will have

  • A qualification within Veterinary science (or similar field).
  • The ability to communicate effectively to suppliers and internal stakeholders alike
  • The ability to work with a high level of autonomy
  • Excellent organisational skills and proficient analytical skills
  • Experience within a financial services environment

Additional information

  • Our office is based in Cardiff, working on a hybrid approach to remote working, 12 days in the office a week (or more if you prefer)
