I'm partnered with an innovative organisation in Abingdon to recruit a new FP&A Business Partner on a fixed-term basis (6 months) with the opportunity to go perm. This newly created role with play an essential part in the budgeting and reforecasting of the wider business as well as projects-based responsibilities on a global level, and thus requires someone with good experience in both business partneringand financial modelling experience.

Reporting to the Group FD you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support and insight into R&D projects including planning, budgeting and reforecasting.
  • The main company budgets and reforecasts
  • Assisting with the creation of presentations to the CEOand senior managers
  • Financial analysis of proposed changes across multiple business units both in the UK and overseas
  • Continuous review of existing processes, providing recommendations and implementing changes to streamline and improve efficiencies
  • Providing training to other team members to broaden FP&A knowledge across the finance function and wider business

You will be a qualified accountant with demonstrable experience within the commercial space, preferably within FP&A, and with strong presentation skills. You will communicate effectively across a business and have experience partnering with senior managers and stakeholders, be adaptable to change and able to be resilient in a multi-faceted and constantly evolving environment. You will be able to inspire and coach others and possess a collaborative and positive outlook.

Salary offered is up to £70k per annum with good benefits including a generous pension scheme, annual discretionary bonus.
