Team Leader


We are looking for a team leader to lead and manage a team in providing support and personal care to people who have physical and/or learning difficulties to live in their own homes.

To support the management team in delivering a quality service throughout Supported Living, while promoting Diverse Abilities in a positive manner and participating in community events.


Requirements:

This contract is for 35 to 38 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader position, the role requires a creative thinker. Someone who loves to work with people and make a difference in their lives.

Line management experience is not absolutely essential, although a willingness to learn, an empathetic outlook and a sense of humour are of the utmost importance


To be successful for this role, you will need to promote outstanding people skills and positive relationships with people we support, their families, staff and professionals involved.


Duties will include:

  • The line management of a staff team, including the induction, supervision and mentoring of staff, offering them the support they need to succeed in their role.
  • Social activities
- including planning peoples 1:1 time effectively with them.

  • Practical support with daily living. This includes domestic tasks, running a household and personal care.
  • A full DBS Check will be conducted free of charge._
