Are you an experienced Hire Controller?

Are you looking to join a fast-paced plant hire department?

Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a Hire Controller to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to keep their database up to date with any plant equipment hired and returned to the company.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £30,000 P/A, depending on experience

This is a full-time, permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 40 hour working week.

Your responsibilities will include:

Equipment Coordination:

Coordinating the scheduling and deployment of plant machinery and equipment to various job sites according to project requirements and timelines.


Inventory Management:
Keeping track of available plant machinery and equipment inventory, including their condition, maintenance schedules, and availability for rent.

Customer Interaction:
Interacting with customers to understand their equipment needs, providing quotes, negotiating terms, and finalizing rental agreements.

Booking and Reservations:
Handling the booking and reservation process for equipment rentals, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery to customers.

Logistics Management:

Arranging transportation and logistics for delivering equipment to and from job sites, optimizing routes and schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.


Maintenance Scheduling:

Coordinating equipment maintenance and servicing schedules to ensure that all machinery is in optimal working condition and meets safety standards.


The ideal candidate:
Will come with a minimum of 1 years' experience within a Hire Controller role, or similar i.e. Service Coordinator.
Plant experience is not required, but would be an advantage
Previous experience in an admin role within the Engineering sector
Excellent Communication skills
Excellent Customer Service background
Strong Admin background
