Our amazing #TeamDrum in Dunfermline are now on the look out for a new caring, patient and flexible colleague to join them on a permanent (20 or 30 hours per week) basis.

The Role
The great thing about this job is that no two days are ever the same. Our team support 4 wonderful ladies who have complex support needs to live in their shared home.

The ladies enjoy a variety of activities from watching football & rugby to going to the theatre and cinema along with in-house activities such as arts and crafts, baking and sensory days.


As a Support Practitioner, you'll assist with all aspects of daily living, including going to appointments, personal care, meal preparation, finances and housework.

As the ladies we support use wheelchairs there will be aspects of moving and assisting, including the use of hoists.


About You


We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need experience or qualifications to start your career with us.

We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ qualification too

What we need you to bring: -

  • A positive approach to learning
  • Good team working skills with the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns
Our dedicated team provide 24 hour support with shifts usually falling into patterns between the hours of hours. Waking nights, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays would also form part of your rota on a rotational basis. Shifts may occasionally vary depending on the needs of the people we support and activities planned.


Our sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional
£87 for every sleepover you work.

Waking nights are paid at your normal hourly rate plus an additional £20 per waking night worked.
