This role involves leading and delivering product introduction and continuous improvement projects. These projects aim to optimize commercial success and enhance customer satisfaction.

Duties include:

  • Planning and executing enhanced inspection and verification processes for machined products
  • Preparing inspection work packs with CNC programs, tooling sheets, inspection plans, and SOPs
  • Leading quality workstreams like improvement projects and non-conformance investigations
  • Supporting operational needs related to Quality, Cost, and Delivery challenges
  • Managing customer documentation such as FAIR, APQP, PPAP, 8D, concessions, etc.

Essential skills, experience, and knowledge:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Prior work with high-value aerospace and defence components
  • Proficiency in metrology, both theoretical and practical
  • Experience with offline CMM Programming
  • Strong background in 3/4/5-axis CNC milling
  • Proficient in offline CAM programming for Fanuc & Siemens controls

Additional experience may involve:

  • Knowledge of PC-DMIS Metrology software and aerospace quality standards
  • Proficiency in Edgecam, Solidworks, and Vericut
  • Familiarity with macro-based programming and advanced process controls
