We are looking for an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist who is eager to grow and excel.

Joining St Marys Hospital, a facility dedicated to serving individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) and progressive neurological conditions, you will play a vital role in enhancing health and independence. Your responsibilities will include conducting top-notch occupational therapy assessments, providing clinical leadership, offering supervision, and consulting with the broader multidisciplinary team.

You will showcase specialized expertise in various areas of occupational therapy such as engagement, environmental adaptation, and skills development crucial for meaningful participation. Managing a designated caseload, you will utilize your theoretical and practical experience to perform assessments, create intervention plans, and assess outcomes aligned with care plans.

Your role as an Occupational Therapist will involve:

  • Effective communication with a variety of stakeholders
  • Providing leadership to junior staff

  • Developing and implementing relevant policies and care pathways

Requirements for a Successful Occupational Therapist:

  • Occupational Therapy profession qualification
  • UK HCPC Registration
  • Extensive clinical experience with children and young individuals with complex needs
  • Familiarity with occupational frames of reference and approaches
  • Proven clinical reasoning skills and specialist knowledge in assessment and treatment models
  • Ability to work effectively with neurodiverse individuals
