Mayfield House, recently acquired by A Welcome House Ltd., is a warm and caring environment catering to the needs of older adults living with dementia, with a current capacity for 30 residents.


Key Responsibilities:

Home Management:

Assist our Registered manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Mayfield House, ensuring a safe, caring, and supportive environment for residents.

CQC Compliance:

Maintain and exceed the standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), ensuring continuous compliance and improvement.
-
Staff Management:

Assist our Registered manager to recruit, supervise, and manage the permanent staff team, minimizing the need for agency staff.

Provide leadership, guidance, and support to foster a positive working environment.

Medication Cycle Management:

Oversee the proper management of medication cycles, ensuring residents receive the correct medication at the appropriate times.

On-Call Duties:

Be available for on-call duties on to address any urgent matters or emergencies that may arise outside of regular working hours.

Care Plans:

Create, review, and update individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their needs and preferences are met with dignity and respect.

-
Home Audits:

Assist our Registered manager to conduct regular and robust home audits to assess and enhance the quality of care and services provided.

Policy Implementation:

Assist our Registered manager to implement and uphold company policies and procedures to maintain consistency and high standards of care.


Qualifications and Skills:

Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or working towards)

Experience in care home management and staff supervision
