Care Assistant

Glenfairn House, Racecourse Road, Ayr, Ayrshire

£10.90 per hour

Various options available including full and part time hours, day and night shifts

Where you'll work


Glenfairn is based in the seaside town of Ayr, located on Racecourse Road, set in a Victorian building with beautiful gardens.

A recently refurbished home. We have the capacity for 61 residents over 3 floors. We support older people over the age of 65 with various frailties and cognitive impairments. We support people with personal care, nutrition and hydration, and meaningful connections. We have an established activity programme. We are a large but close staff team. Flexible hours can be considered.

Our home is close to all major public transport link in the town and a 5-minute walk away for the town centre.

What skills do I need?

  • Being able to communicate well is essential along with a flexible approach
  • You'll also be kind and have a real genuine like for older people and their needs, ensuring we treat everyone with the respect and dignity they deserve.
