We are seeking to expand our team with a full time or part time Accounts Assistant to work 3-5 days per week.


Benefits include:

  • Salary range £24£30,000 dependent on level of experience. (Pro rata for part time)

The role of the Accounts Assistant:

  • To be involved in all aspects of accounts using Sage line 50
  • Upload invoices onto database for month end
  • Purchase Ledger reconciliation and supplier statement reconciliation
  • Preparation of payment runs, VAT returns
  • Raise monthly sale invoices, accruals, prepayments
  • Credit control, chase and manage outstanding debts.
  • Ideally you will be able to take the accounts to trial balance / part management accounts

The Accounts Assistant will:

  • Be able to provide a full accounts function to our small business
  • Ideally you will be able to do accounts to trial balance / part management accounts level you may be AAT qualified.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills to be able to resolve queries and problems.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills to keep on top of our business on a weekly basis.
  • You will be confident of your own abilities, methodical and well organised, able to make the job your own.
Training

Client and product knowledge provided; however, accounts experience essential.
