HSQA Manager

Stewart Trailers manufactures high specification agricultural trailers for the UK and overseas markets. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As the HSQA Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all health & safety operations and carrying out quality inspections of our products.

An agricultural background and welding/fabrication experience is preferred.

Requirements:

NEBOSH (National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety) essential

Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices

Due to our location you must have a clean driving licence and your own transport

Proficient in using Microsoft Office

Fabrication or relative industry experience preferred

An agricultural background or knowledge of the agricultural industry

Team player

Duties:

Daily on-site safety inspections

Creation of job specific Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of work and ensuring all employees are aware of how to use them

Preparation and delivery of Toolbox Talks

Investigation and recording of any incidents and accidents

Implementation of safety training and maintaining training matrix

Arrange Plant and Machinery inspections and maintain records

Arrange inspection and upkeep of lifting equipment and safety harnesses

Assist with internal and external audits

Stay up-to-date with the latest health and safety regulations and industry best practices

Manage and maintain safety records and documentation

Ensure that all safety-related incidents are reported and documented accurately and promptly

Quality Inspections during the trailer build cycle

Final Quality Inspections of trailers prior to dispatch to customers

Assist with other duties and administration as required and instructed by the Directors

Hours: Full time, permanent position

Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience
