We are seeking a dynamic IT Programme Director - Transformation Delivery will have responsibility for leading the core IT Projects and Program of work that enables the wider Business Transformation Programme to deliver it's desired outcomes over a multi-year change programme that is affecting all functions, process and people across the entire Enterprise

Reporting to the Chief Transformation and Information Officer and as part of the senior leadership of the CTIO function the role will require very close working relationships with the CTO, CISO Head of IT Operations, Transformation Delivery Director and the Head of Business solutions in addition to wider senior leadership across the organisation. Strong matrix management and networking skills are essential for the role.

Ultimately the role is responsible for the successful delivery of all technology change required to facilitate and enable SGN's Transformation Programme, providing significant uplift in safety maturity, safety performance and the people and cultural changes defined within our business strategy.

Oversee all technology change delivery for the Business Transformation programme. Ensure adequate levels of delivery resources are available and allocated to all technology change workstreams and programmes outside of "BAU" change. Responsible to oversee and manage the IT Programme budget. Ensure strong financial governance, planning and forecasting is in place and be responsible for the financial and quality performance Projects and Programmes delivered to time, budget and quality. Report against key performance indicators around delivery of projects and programmes. Work with the Transformation Programme Office as well as the IT PMO to ensure consistent reporting across both. Define, own and maintain the core IT Programme portfolio Plan. Provide visibility of project and portfolio status and health through regular reporting and where required, input to the Enterprise Programme Office. Developing and implementing a robust, industry-leading programme management methodology & overseeing technology change delivery

What you'll need

A proven track record in shaping and delivering complex IT Change Programmes is essential on a scale of double digit million pounds. Delivery of enterprise grade platforms such as Oracle, Salesforce, Maximo Service Now, AWS or similar. Constructing and executing clear delivery plans to enable the release of business value at the earliest opportunity and therefore experience and comfort in both waterfall and agile delivery methods is essential. A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Or equivalent work experience With 5+ years of leadership experience with large cross-functional teams You have proven experience influencing senior level management and key stakeholders Strong matrix management and networking skills are essential for the role. You have experience managing large budgets and delivering ambitious and sizeable projects and programmes within scope, on time and on budget.
