Willmotts Transport is one of the largest independent warehousing and distribution companies in the South West, based in Westfield, Radstock we are looking for HR Administrator to join our friendly team, this is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who would like to start their career in HR.
Key Responsibilities will be as follows:
- Creating job descriptions and advertising new vacancies
- Supporting the offer and on boarding process including preparing offer paperwork, carrying out preemployment checks, ensuring all necessary paperwork is scanned and filed electronically, preparing induction schedules for new starters
- Inputting data onto the firm's HR database (People HR)
- Deal with incoming phone calls appropriately
- Other general HR administration requirements
- Adding training and competency records to the training portal
- Logging sickness and other absence on HR System
- Uniform management and distribution
Key Competencies:
- Excellent administration skills, with previous recruitment and/or HR administration beneficial, but not essential as training will be provided
- Strong Communication skills with a professional and confidential approach to work
- Organised approach with great attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Capability to report correct information to colleagues
- Highly competent in Microsoft
- Previous payroll experience using Sage payroll would be beneficial,
Benefits:
- The Company hold a Group Death in Service policy
- After 2 year's unbroken service employees will receive an additional day's holiday which will increase by an extra day (pro rata where necessary) after each additional full years' service up to a maximum of 3 days.
- After a successful probationary period work towards CIPD Level 3 under the apprenticeship levy
Additional Details:
- Hours of work Mon
- Fri 9am 5pm with 30 mins for lunch hours)
- 28 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays

Salary:
From £21,000.00 per year
