We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated scientific professional with proven post-doctoral experience in developing and managing the delivery of innovative new techniques for the study of tissue biology in inflammation across Tissues (IAT).

You will be based at the Kennedy Institute, working within the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences at the University of Oxford.


This interesting and varied role offers an opportunity to work with researchers, funders and collaborators with interests spanning basic biology to translational research, experimental medicine and clinical trials.


You will work closely with the Theme Leads (Chris Buckley and Holm Uhlig) on the development and implementation of the IAT strategic plan agreed with the Oxford BRC leadership team and manage the Theme Liaison officer and lead reporting on activity for review by the BRC Leadership team prior to submission to NIHR.

You will take an active involvement in scientific development of the discussions within the Clinical Pathology Platform at the Kennedy Institute and maintain an awareness of research progress, attending internal seminars and PI meetings regularly; establish effective working relationships with the Institute's PIs and administrative staff at all levels

This is a fixed-term, full time position for 3 years.
