Bedford Modern School is committed to the wellbeing of our student community.

We are recruiting a confident, caring and organised Student Support Assistant to work as part of our dedicated Wellbeing Team to support our senior school students.

As a Student Support Assistant, you will promote student wellbeing and have the expertise to offer short-term support and intervention to individual students and their families.


You will therefore have experience of working with young people and their families in a school setting, a sound working knowledge of safeguarding, the ability to work independently, excellent interpersonal and listening skills and ideally a relevant counselling or mental health qualification.
