The Data Centre - Hardware Technology Lead and Data Analyst is a key position in the delivery of Data Centre Infrastructure Support Services to ONNEC Clients.
Reporting to the account Service Delivery Director, the Data Centre - Hardware Technology Lead and Data Analyst will be site based and be responsible for supporting the engineering teams during planning, design, development, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting processes at multiple client Data Centre's.
(The Data Centre - Hardware Technology Lead and Data Analyst is responsible for the quality controls of the day-to-day activities for all Campus sites.Working with the CustomerSite and Technology Leads to improve the operational systems; processes and procedures in support of enhanced service deliverables and management reporting.
The Data Centre - Hardware Technology Lead and Data Analyst, may be required to visit sites through EMEA, US and APAC.
What we're looking for in ourData Centre - Hardware Technology Lead andData Analyst:
Experience in Database and software programming languages such as Python.
Experience in Data Analytics and reporting.
Previous experience in Programme & Project Management.
Experience working in banking IT environment.
Experience inin a Data Centre Moves Adds and Changes environment (IT Hardware deployment).
Advancedexperience in structured cabling installation, fault finding and testing with fluke test equipment.
Thorough knowledge of structured cabling standards and cable types (FTP,UTP & Optical Fibre)
Expert knowledge of Asset Management Systems
Expert understanding of complex change management and service delivery processes.
Ability to approve / sign off training modules.
Ability to lead / supervise special projects from design through to handover.
Advanced knowledge of performance metrics and reporting, technical problem resolution and risk management.
Experience gathering and data analysis to effect meaningful change in areas that need improvement.
Ability to communicate and drive the strategic direction of the group, delivering technology solutions that meet internal and external needs.
Expertise prioritizing customer experience, reviewing feedback, hosting customer forums and focus groups to proactively address the needs of the customer.
Effectively collaborate with peer groups to identify and highlight best practices in support through continuous assessment, and elevating process and product recommendations to senior managers.
Emphasis shall be applied towards maximizing the potential of all available resources, expanding the capabilities and productivity of technical staff, and continuing to improve upon past performance.
Expertise in core technologies related to Data Centers.Experience supporting enterprise-class hardware deployments.
Strong Technical knowledge of physical infrastructure (compute, network, storage).
Understanding of network concepts (switching, routing, perimeter security).
Support in a large-scale and diverse environment of incident management, escalation procedures and project delivery disciplines.
Supervisory of people and management skills.

COMPTIA Network+
Previous training / qualifications within Information Technology field.
Information Technology Infrastructure Library – Foundation & Expert (ITIL)
