This role would suit someone looking for a first job in a kitchen environment, or someone with relevant experience who is looking for an opportunity to work and progress in an extremely busy and rewarding environment.



As we are in the Airport,
Opening hours are 4am - 9pm and shift times can vary so please check travel arrangement prior to applying.


Due to Airport Security reasons, a
Full 5 year background check will be carried out and a
Clean Criminal Record is essential.


A valid form of I.D. is essential (Passport or UK Drivers Licence)


The main roles and responsibilities of a Kitchen Porter include:

  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Ensuring the chefs have a constant supply of clean pots, crockery and prepped food.
  • Preparing desserts and food to company specifications
  • Assisting the chefs to ensure a smooth service
  • Ensure all relevant food safety procedures are followed and all due diligence is completed
  • Opening and closing down the kitchen, ensuring it is fully prepared for service and cleaned down fully at the end of the day.
  • Accept deliveries, ensuring food is rotated and accepted in a good condition.
  • Any other duties required by the Chef and Head Chef

Cut of Tips

Shift Patterns are usually 4am-12pm or 12pm-9pm (close)

Pay:
£13.00-£14.00 per hour
