with a great knowledge of local Scottish ales and effective cellar management? Know your single malts and pride yourself on delivering welcoming and friendly service? We are recruiting an experienced publican to manage the bar operations in a well established, busy pub venue in central Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daytoday operations of the bar, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Train and supervise bartenders and other bar staff.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in a bar management or assistant manager role is required.
- Knowledge of cellar management & stock control.
- Proactive with a eye for detail.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment.
