Objective of the Role


Reporting to the Head Chef, the Kitchen Assistant will support the Head Chef and kitchen team in maintaining hygiene, cleanliness levels in the kitchen and assistant all chefs with service and food preperation.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a supply of clean ware / cooking ware & kitchen utensils at all times
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens at all times
  • Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP standards
  • Working alongside the Head Chef in providing excellent food & service.
  • Adhere to all food safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen.
  • Should possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
