One of the successful E-commerce companies in South-West is in need of a talented Senior Web Developer. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of practical experience in software development within an e-commerce setting. While Shopify familiarity is a plus, the key requirement is proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This is a Hybrid role, meaning you'll spend three days working from the office in South Devon and two days remotely.

Role: Senior Web Developer
Location: South Devon (commutable from Exeter, Newton Abbot, Totnes, Torbay, and areas East of Plymouth)
Salary: up to £55k per annum, depending on skills and experience
Work Setup: Hybrid Working

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Familiarity with modern Version control software such as GIT

Additionally, experience in the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Shopify development expertise
  • Experience with modern JS frameworks like Vue or React
  • Familiarity with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
  • Proficiency in Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of Docker
  • Experience in writing frontend and backend unit and integration tests (PHPUnit/PEST)
