Working 5 out of 7 days Monday to Friday, This is a full-time position where your shifts will be from 9am to 5pm

About the role


You will be at the heart of the operations at Pure Garden Buildings Keeping our warehouse, located in Dover, tidy, stocked, and working to ensure that our Garden Buildings reach the homes of all our customers in the best possible conditions.

As a warehouse operative, you will be working within a warehouse environment and your duties will be as followed:

  • Organising of all our stock in our depot/ Moving and rearranging stock
  • Loading container lorries for transfer of stock between our depots
  • Unloading incoming Container deliveries
  • Quality checking of items
  • Preparing customer returns or damaged boxes ready for resale
  • General housekeeping
  • Picking stock ready for all field staff
  • Monthly stock checks
  • All training will be provided.

Selection Criteria:

This is a manual position that involves some heavy lifting.

Being a growing business, you will need to be flexible and reliable. You may be asked to complete other tasks within the business e.g. supporting with preparation for inset training days, collecting pallets or gas bottles from local suppliers

  • You can pay attention to detail, enough to notice errors when you receive goods or pick them for a delivery.
  • You love working in a team and always try to maintain good relationships with other colleagues.
  • You have a forklift licence (preferable).
  • You know the essentials of safety and quality standards and procedures.
  • You can work with mínimal supervision and manage your own workload.
  • You don't turn a blind eye to issues, but instead you jump on them and have a strong desire to solve them.
  • You are willing to learn about our seasonal products and operational procedures
  • A full, clean UK driving licence held for over 2 years.
  • A forklift licence or experience is an advantage.
