Job description

Carlton le Willows Academy are looking to appoint an Assistant Principal to join our academy in September 2024 on a full time, permanent basis.


Ability to Teach Maths desirable.

As an Assistant Principal, you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team of the academy, working within the 'Deeps' as assigned by the Principal.

You will proactively support the Principal / Vice Principal / AAB members to ensure that the leadership and management of the academy runs at the most effective level possible.

With a consistent record of high academic attainment, Carlton le Willows remains one of the top performing schools in the area.

In summer % of pupils secured a Grade 4+ in English and Maths and 55% achieved this at grade 5+.

Across the board 76% of pupils achieved grade 4+ in five or more GCSEs and our progress score was +0.2 placing us above similar schools nationally.


  • A level students in our high performing sixth form achieved a 100% pass rate in 2023, with the average A level grade a B minus, retaining our reputation for academic excellence post 16.
