Permanent Press Brake Operators

Blue Arrow is working in partnership with an Industry leader fabrication specialist and are looking for experienced press brake operators to join their highly skilled team in Sandbach.

Travel routes

There are bus routes which pass by the site which are 317, 37, 38. The closest bus station to the site is called "Rookery Tavern".

What will my pay be?

Pay Range:
Basic day rate £10.50 to £13.30 per hour (dependent upon skills and experience)
Pay Range: 6-2 shift rate £11.81 to £14.96 per hour (dependent upon skills and experience)
Pay Range 2-10 shift £13.13 to £16.63 per hours (dependent upon skills and experience)

What are my hours and shift patterns?


Hours: 07:30am to 16:30pm Monday to Thursday and 07:30am to 12:30pm Friday but could be asked to work a shift patterns (Shift Allowance will be payable on top of basic pay) 06:00 to 14:00 hours (Friday finish at 12:00 hours) and/or 14:00pm to 22:00pm hours (Friday 12:00pm to 18:00pm hours) dependent upon customer demands and business needs.


Overtime (Available but not guaranteed)
Between £13.97 to £17.69 (dependent upon basic pay rate).

For any overtime hours worked over 48 hours the rate increases between £15.75 to £19.95 per hour (dependent upon basic pay rate).

What is my role as a press brake operator?

  • You will be responsible for the set up and operation of the press machines (Amada and/or Edward Pearson).
  • Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
  • Produce parts for assembly operations.
  • Reading of technical drawings and performing quality checks on the work produced.
  • Meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements.
  • Perform spot inspections of parts.
  • Performing complex programming using all features of the press brake.
  • You MUST have previous experience using press brake machines.
  • The ability to read engineering drawings.
