The business is in an exciting period of growth, having expanded it's footprint in the last year and establishing commercial partnerships with leaders in the global food industry. As we continue to grow, we are recruiting a Project Manager to join the team and directly contribute to the advancement of the business.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for managing a variety of high-priority projects in R&D, customer and partner collaborations, and grant writing/reporting. You'll have the opportunity to influence processes across the function.

  • Work closely with executive team to identify projects
  • Develop project plans and lead execution via meetings
  • Manage responsibilities, timelines, dependencies and risks

Competencies

  • Highly organised and motivated, with attention to detail
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skill
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking decisive action
  • Proven ability to meet firm deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Capable of managing stakeholders at all levels of seniority

Experience

  • Degree in a scientific discipline is preferable, with 5+ years of experience in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder scientific environment
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering complex, long-term technical projects on time and within budget
  • Proven experience in report writing

Desired experience

  • Professional qualification in project management e.g. Prince2, Agile
  • Additional industry or biotechnology experience
  • Understanding and contribution to broader management and administration processes
