This is a unique opportunity to join a specialist technical manufacturing team.

To be considered for the role of fabricator/welder, you should have:

  • Experience or qualifications as a fabricator/welder.
  • Some experience of high precision structures, eg robot plinths, conveyors, assembly tables.
  • An understand of engineering drawings.
  • Be able to MIG and TIG weld to a high standard, both stainless and mild steel.
  • Work closely with the production manager to prioritise work and make sure deadlines are met.
  • Be willing to receive forklift training
  • Prepare finished items for paint/powder coating.
  • Help the fitters assembling the final product to ensure they fit.
  • Constantly improve inhouse processes to maximise efficiency.
  • Mentor junior staff members.
  • Be willing to work overtime as & when required.
