Swift Temps, acting as an employment agency, is currently advertising a position for a Pressbrake Operator/ Setter on behalf of their client located in Halesfield, Telford. They are keen to enlarge their small yet welcoming team with an individual skilled in operating Pressbrakes.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for own workload
  • Ensuring work is completed on time
  • Operating 3 meter and 4 meter Amada Pressbrakes
  • Willingness to train in other areas and become multiskilled
  • Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team

This role presents a great opportunity for someone seeking growth in their field. It is also suitable for an experienced setter looking to expand their skills within a supportive team environment.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience with Pressbrakes. The salary offered will vary depending on experience:

  • Hourly rate of up to £15
  • Monday to Friday overtime at time and a quarter
  • Saturday overtime at time and a half
  • Sunday overtime at double time
  • Monthly bonus based on company achievements

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm
Friday 8am-2pm

Candidates are required to have prior experience with Pressbrakes to be eligible for this role. This is a temporary to permanent position, with a full contract after completing 9 weeks of work. For the suitable candidate, a permanent role may be offered initially.
