Assistive Solutions specialises in providing support to individuals eligible for Disabled Students' Allowances in higher education. We are a Social Enterprise dedicated to working with disabled individuals, offering specialized computer equipment, personalized teaching, and an internal software development team. As a Disability Confident Employer, we are seeking candidates for a field-based role covering Yorkshire, Northeast London, and the Southwest of England.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct 1-1 ergonomic assessments for adult students with various physical disabilities
  • Visit students' homes to evaluate their current workstations and recommend suitable ergonomic solutions
  • Travel daily across the Southwest of England, using your own vehicle (public transport may be an option)

Successful applicants should possess strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a drive to help students overcome educational barriers through ergonomic interventions. Previous experience in adult social care, occupational health, health & safety, disability, or education sectors is advantageous. We offer comprehensive training, educational materials, and methodologies to enhance your expertise and deliver top-notch service to students. Requirements:
  • Access to a car
  • Experience in a relevant field
  • Proficient writing skills
  • Computer literacy
