Your new role Joining a high achieving department, you will be responsible for teaching English to KS4. The role is to commence as soon as possible and will operate, part time (4 days per week - excluding Tuesday), on a temporary basis until the end of this academic year

as a minimum. The vacancy is likely to then continue into the new academic year.

As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating in pupil ability.

You will also be required to mark and assess all work ensuring

that pupils are progressing in line with their target grades.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold a teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS or PGCE and have experience of teaching English to KS4.

You must be able to commence the role immediately and be able to commit to the full

duration of the assignment.

In addition to the support from the department, you will also be supported by a dedicated HAYS consultant who will assist with any

queries.
