We're looking for a Theatre Scheduler to join The Wilmslow Hospital.

Working within theatres, you will greet and assist visitors to the department, ensure effective communication with theatre staff, consultants' secretaries and with all facility departments.

This role is vital in the smooth running of the department.

What you'll do:

  • Liaise with consultant secretaries with regard to theatre lists and sessions
  • Manage the booking process within the facility by developing and implementing new administrative systems
  • Organise the office layout and maintain supplies of stationary and equipment for reservations and theatres
  • To manage correspondence and telephone enquiries, booking of taxis and couriers
  • Arrange and attend meetings and prepare minutes
  • Participate in orientation of new staff

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within healthcare is essential
  • Previous experience of working within a theatre is highly desirable
  • Exceptional IT skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
