About the role:
Do you have a passion for all things PR? Are you looking to build a career and work with some of the best digital minds in the business? If so, Compare My Move, an online comparison service for moving home, are looking for a new Digital PR Specialist.
You must be results driven, creative, organised, love data and love building links As the UK's leading comparison service for home movers, we are all about rankings, traffic and leads.
The key responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
- Earn coverage and links through targeted campaigns.
- Build relationships with online media and journalists.
- Pay close attention to the media cycle, social media trends, and breaking stories, using this to find new coverage opportunities.
- Contribute to the production of digital PR campaigns / ideas.
- Be creative and adapt strategies in to maximise results.
- Land big links at scale to drive keyword performance.
- Be creative and proactive. Identifying new opportunities for growth
- Help to grow the authority of Compare My Move across all services.
- Stay abreast of search engine developments and algorithm changes.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify new coverage opportunities.
- Conduct research and data analysis into internal and external data.
- Monitor & report on coverage and links.
- Use analytics tools to evaluate and report on impact of campaigns.
- Utilise Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush and Ahrefs to analyse impact of campaigns
- A minimum of 2 years Digital PR experience
- Results driven with a real passion for PR and link building
- A creative thinker who can solve problems
- Have a cando attitude, always on the lookout for new ideas and things to improve
- Organised and analytical with a love for data
- Demonstrable experience of building links
- Ability to evaluate content from an SEO and user perspective
- Experience using Google Analytics, Search Console and Excel
- Experience using SEMrush, AHREFS or equivalent
- Excellent reporting skills and used to presenting to senior management
- While not required, experience of lead generation would be great to bring to the table, even better if in similar services but don't worry if you don't have this
