Cleaning Operative

Summary
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed;
- Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space, smoking area and car park;
- Complete nonroutine cleaning according to specified job orders;
- Remove rubbish and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly/fortnightly pickup;
- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests;
- Ensure and ablutions and rooms are maintained and fully equipped;
- Ensure all walkways and corridors are free from obstruction; and
- Sweeping up all dust/debris.
Skills/Qualifications
- 1 year's Cleaning experience in a factory environment;
- Ability to work well under mínimal supervision;
- Capacity to take orders;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Able to work autonomously and work on their own initiative.
Working hours consist of Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:30am to 4:00pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
