I am working with a fresh produce company based on the outskirts of Maidstone who are looking for a sales executive to join their growing sales team.


The purpose of sales executive role will be to increase sales by following up on generated leads and also provide account management for accounts across the UK.


Day to day duties of the sales executive:

  • Follow up on leads and speaking to decision makers to sell various fresh produce to fresh service and supermarket industries.
  • Manage accounts and continually grow and develop existing accounts by upselling and bringing new products to customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and develop professional relationships with accounts.
  • Keep industry knowledge up to date and be able to provide clients with information and knowledge on seasonal growing patterns and produce.

Skills and experience required for the sales executive:

  • Previous experience working within a sales environment within the fresh produce industry
  • Previous experience working with food service or supermarket chains or online grocers
  • Knowledge on growing seasons
  • Confident and keen to drive sales targets
  • Previous work experience working towards and achieving KPIS/Targets
