Job Summary:

Duties:

  • Working closely with the Registered Manager and Care coordinator to ensure that client visits are carried out in line with individual care plans, and to the standard expected by Visiting Angels.
  • Support clients with personal care tasks
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided
  • Demonstrate leadership skills to motivate and guide the care team
  • Support the Management Team with the on call rota

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is essential
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with elderly clients
  • A valid driving licence and business insurance
  • Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining client records
  • Strong leadership qualities to supervise and guide care staff effectively

Pay:
£13.50-£15.00 per hour

Experience:

- providing care: 1 year (required)

- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (required)
