We are collaborating with a prominent Developer in South London seeking to expand their quantity surveying team.

As an **Assistant Quantity Surveyor**, you will directly report to the Commercial Director. Your key responsibilities will involve overseeing two projects: one active site with 200 units and another in the pre-construction phase, set to go live with over 350 units later this year.

By joining as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to advance from AQS to QS within 16 months, given the division's projected growth from 700 to 900 units annually.

This role seeks an Assistant QS prepared to take on more responsibilities.

We require someone with a proven track record of managing commercial aspects of developments within the housebuilding sector.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Cost planning and feasibility work
  • Analysis of tenders and selection of contractors
  • Management of contractor payments and accounts
  • Contract production and administration
  • Organizing pre and post-tender meetings and reviewing tender inquiries
  • Assessment and negotiation of variations and claims
  • Evaluating cost-effectiveness of projects, products, or services
