Experience and understanding of the following:
Call Centre Monitoring & Wallboards

Call Recording setup and support

Broadband ordering and management (Number and Line Porting, regrades)

SIM card ordering, number assignment and support

Corporate Mobile Phone Management
- iOS (Apple Business Manager, or Apple School Manager)

  • Android
Audio Visual Equipment support

Knowledge of Starlink Internet installation, support and troubleshooting

Experience working with SIP communications, working with SIP providers, and troubleshooting such issues

Proven record of providing great customer service within a helpdesk / call centre environment

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to train others

Physical network cable planning, running and terminating

Understanding of networking principles and protocols; Physical configuration and Logical configuration (TCP/IP, cabling, and LAN troubleshooting)

Ability to analyse and troubleshoot software and hardware issues

Organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail

Team player

Self-motivated and proactive

Ability to be resilient and to work under pressure

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

Head up our new Unified Communications team, to put in place rigorous standards, procedures and audits to build a foundation for a growing part of the business

Provide first
- and second-line technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues

Work with the Sales team to complete audits, provide solutions and win opportunities

Install, configure and ongoing support for systems, including proactively amending and adjusting call-flows to optimise systems

Contribute and work within projects to ensure successful execution within defined deadlines, contributing to the smooth implementation of UC solutions for our clients

Participate in client meetings, including face-to-face interactions, and pre-sales activities, providing technical expertise and building strong client relationships

Arrange audit and installation for Broadband, Leased Line and other WAN technologies

Process Line regrades and cancellations

Analyse system logs and identify potential issues or trends

Collaborate with other Support desk and 3rd parties to resolve technical problems

Provide training and guidance to junior team members

Monitor ongoing costs, provide alternatives and work with the finance team to incorporate seamless billing practices
