High Level Maintenance Operative

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced IPAF qualified maintenance engineer to join a growing team specialised in the clearance of high-level gutters / roofs, based in Hazel Grove.

Covering mainly the Northwest/Midlands but with the possibility of further travel, where required. Applicants must have previous experience operating powered access equipment and working at height. Operatives should be courteous; customer focused with excellent time management.

  • Valid Driving Licence is essential (ideally able to drive 7.5ton vehicles)
  • IPAF qualification is essential
  • Experience using Mansafe system preferred
  • A CSCS card would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • You must be comfortable working at height.
  • You must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends on occasions.
  • Time keeping and using your own initiative will be important aspects of the role, so you should be proficient at these skills.
  • You will need to be able to read and understand risk assessments, method statements and have a high level of awareness of health and safety procedures.

Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 6am - 4pm (45-hour basic week)

Overtime:
Available (including weekends)

Job Type:
Full-Time, Permanent

Pay:
All overtime is paid at time and a half. Monthly pay.
