Violin/Viola Teacher

Seeking a violin/viola teacher for a full day and evening's teaching for Dartford Grammar School and Dartford Music School.

Applicants should have:

Proven experience of teaching students above Grade 6 , preferably prior experience in preparing students and achieving the top grades at GCSE and/or IB Diploma/A Level and be able to mentor and coach duets and chamber music ensemble.

Dartford Grammar School is a highly selective boys secondary school focused on providing a wide curriculum and preparing students to become International citizens. The music department is a busy environment and over 300 students in the school have lessons every week. The department has GCSE and IB Music classes every year and many extra curricular activities.

Dartford Music School is part of Dartford Grammar School and runs music lessons in the evenings and at the weekends to cater both for students from the school as well as members of the outside community, DMS provides lessons to many students from nearby primary schools and runs outreach projects in the local area to engage as many people as possible in music making.

Pay £33 per hour
