Breakfast Cook

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our Breakfast team.

As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, preparing delicious meals and ensuring food safety standards are met.

This may suit a fast learning trainee as a first step towards a Full time Chef position. It would also suit someone wanting part time work that didn't take up much of their day.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
  • Ensure food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
  • Monitor food stock levels and replenish supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food production
  • Follow proper food handling procedures and adhere to food safety regulations
  • Assist in developing new menu items and specials
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers

Experience:

  • Proven experience working in a kitchen is an advantage
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
