We are recruiting for Trainee Care Assistants in
Newcastle upon Tyne to join our new team.

Care Assistants can be placed in various settings from children's/adults residential care homes to assisted living complexes.


You will provide care and support to service users aged 7-17 within children's residential settings and 18+ in adult care settings.

They may have mental health, learning difficulties or complex needs.

You will endeavour to help them develop the life skills that they require for everyday living by assisting them in household tasks but to always promote independence.

In some services, this will include providing personal, domestic, and emotional care.

Personal Specification:

  • Ability to work as part of a team and be selfmotivated.
  • Ability to be a good role model.
  • Attend work reliably and punctually.
  • Strong character.
  • Practical support skills.
  • Able and willing to assist with personal care.
  • Have a caring nature.
  • Be able to commit to the 8am11pm or 8am11pm + sleep shift patterns.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Clean DBS.


Casual working can be utilised as an additional income, weekend job, to compliment your studies or for many of our team, can be used to obtain full-time position.
