We have recently announced the creation of Pilgrim's Shared Services, a fourth stand-alone company, which will bring together some of the support functions of our current three businesses (Moy Park, excluding France and Netherlands, Pilgrim's UK & Pilgrim'sFood Masters).

Its purpose is to deliver a high-quality shared service to those three businesses.

As the business grows, this shared service will broaden opportunities for career development as part of a far larger organisation.

We will also continue our investment in technology to drive efficiencies and improved ways of working.
A dedicated Transactional Services team will be created to deliver a high-quality and cost-effective service to the Business Units.

Reporting to the Head of Treasury, we are pleased to advise that we are now recruiting for a Treasury Analyst.

The Role

As a Treasury Analyst, you will support the treasury team with a wide variety of duties including cash management, foreign currency hedging and maintaining debt facilities.

It is an exciting opportunity to be part of the implemenation and development of the Treasury function within the new Pilgrim's Europe Shared Service Centre.

Key to this will be identifying process improvements and streamlining these across all companies.
Job Responsibilities

  • Perform bank reconciliations in the Treasury Management System and complete monthly SAP reconciliations;
  • Support weekly cash forecasting and administration of cash pool funding;
  • Manage FX confirms and settlement processes;
  • Process daily treasury payments including funding requests and interest payments in compliance with company policy;
  • Liase with banks and group entities to resolve queries in a timely manner;
  • Administration of online banking platforms and treasury systems;
  • Identify improvement opportuntities to optimise treasury processes and streamline internal controls;
  • Maintain compliance of Treasury policies and the timely completion of key SOx controls for the department;
  • Assist with projects and ad hoc queries from across the global group and other external parties;
  • Complete key reporting for the department on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis;
  • Support as required with the quarterly and annual external audit processes;
What You'll Need

  • Bachelors degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or related business field
  • Good computer literacy, particularly strong competency in Excel;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral. Able to communication with all levels both inside and outside the business;
  • Ability to break down problems into meaningful parts and come to rational and wellthought out conclusions;
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • Thorough and meticulous with extreme attention to detail;
  • Assertive, good team worker with strong professional work ethic;
  • Willingness to travel as required.
